Fiemme2013′s dress-rehearsal: the pre-World Championships

The year is 2012, a milestone on the road to Fiemme 2013…. At first, we had the Tour de Ski, with the success of Eldar Rønning, the incredible challenge Bjørgen vs. Kowalczyk and the third success of the King of the Alpe Cermis, Dario Cologna. Then, it was time for the premiere of the ladies ski-jumping World Cup, with a ski-stadium painted pink, the supremacy of Sarah Hendrickson and the show of Paolo Bernardi’s team. Finally, it was time for the athletes of the nordic combined and ski-jumping World Cup to pay a visit to Predazzo and Lago di Tesero, with the amazing show of Gregor Schlierenzauer, Kamil Stoch, Mikko Kokslien, Jason Lamy Chappuis and Akito Watabe… This has been our 2012, only an appetizer of what’s coming in 2013!!!

Penalty Race – LH 10 km – Friday, February 3rd 2012 – Highlights

The first race in Val di Fiemme of the DKB FIS Nordic Combined World Cup 2012, with the penalty race that replaced the event in Zakopane. Jason Lamy Chappuis (FRA) takes the win, while Bjoern Kircheisen (GER) prevails on Mikko Kokslien (NOR) in the sprint for the second place.
